Goodbye James Doohan

I loved the character “Scotty” from Star Trek, and indeed that character was one of the influences that initially interested me in engineering, my chosen career.
Today, James Doohan, the wonderful and personable actor who played Mr Scott, passed away at the age of 85. I, along with many other Trekkies, am saddened to hear the news that he’s gone, and I hope his family are well.
