This is Scott’s Blog.

I am the IT Manager for a consulting engineering company in Western Canada. I formerly mostly wrote about work stuff, which includes servers, data storage, Linux, GroupWise, and snowboarding. Unfortunately the snowboarding isn’t my work, but you can’t have everything.

More recently I have done some writing on copyright reform in Canada, and also on competitive swimming, the best amateur sport around.

I’m also (in no particular order) a retired competitive swimmer, professional engineer, husband, and parent, Star Trek geek, and neophile.
